Requirements
MTB Skills – Intermediate/Advanced
Fitness – Good level of fitness required
A wicked helicopter flight over The Remarkables to one of the highest heli bike drop-offs in the area, near the peak of Ben Cruachan (just under 2000m). The views are as breath-taking as the altitude! After the scenic helicopter flight (with the bikes!), the serenity, once the helicopter leaves us on the ridgeline, is hard to put into words.

Total Distance – 18km
Terrain – 6km Open Ridgeline, 6km Alpine Single track, 6km Rough 4wd Road
Descent Time – 2-3 hours depending on group speed
Trip Time (round trip) – 4 hours
An 18km backcountry mountain bike trip like no other, our trail has a great mixture of terrain. Starting on open rolling ridgeline, then diving into a beautiful flowing section of fast alpine singletrack made by the original gold miners back in the 1860′s, the track finishes as a rough and fast 4wd road meandering down to the picturesque Gibston Valley (Valley of Wines). 1500m of vertical descent!
