Vertigo - Tours

If you’re unsure of which trip is right for you, ask yourself these questions:

1. Have I ridden off road before?

2. Do I own a mountain bike?

3. Do I feel comfortable riding 4WD tracks over rough ground?

4. Am I able to stand and descend while on a bike?

5. Do I ride my bike regularly off road?

6. Am I confident on uneven surfaces, rough terrain and loose rocks?

7. Can I ride downhill single track with ease?

8. Tight technical switchbacks and off-camber tree roots are no problem?

QUEENSTOWN’S ORIGINAL HELI BIKE GUIDING COMPANY!

Vertigo is now closed for the season, will be open again once the snow is gone in about mid-October.  See you then!

Vertigo has been guiding in the Wakatipu for over a decade, and we have a range of mountain bike trips to suit all levels of rider, whether you are after an adrenaline pumping heli bike experience or a more scenic mountain bike adventure in Skippers Canyon.  We’ve got it covered!

All our guided trips include a high-end full suspension mountain bike from Giant.  We use 2012 Giant Reign All Mountain bikes for our backcountry trips, and 2012 Giant Glory’s for our DH trips!

We make sure you get the right size bike and that it is set up properly for you (including which way you have your brakes depending on where you’re from).

Vertigo leads the way in terms of safety standards and we are continually updating our procedures and safety systems to stay ahead of the industry standard for adventure tourism.  We are currently an Outdoors Mark & Qualmark Certified business.
